Saturday morning, Munchkin had her final basketball game of the season. The league were holding a mini tournament. If Munchkin’s team won their game, they would play in the finals. Her team went in as the underdogs against an undefeated team. No one expected them to win. They didn’t even expect the game to be close, but everyone was there to cheer them on. The game began. Foto Friday: Capturing the Wind

Rebecca at Renaissance is hosting a weekly meme called Foto Friday. This week, her challenge was to capture the wind. One thing that we don’t lack for here in the desert is wind. Wind mixed with lots of sand equals dust storms. We were driving, and I was able to snap a few photos. Fall Into Reading 2009

It’s hard to believe it’s already time for Callapidder Days Fall Into Reading again.  Wow!  Time has flown.  This time last year we were preparing for D’s return home.  I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since he’s been back!! Munchkin’s reading list for this year includes the Hank the Cowdog series by John R. Ericson and the Sarah series by Jim Baumgardner.  She also plans on reading several “how to draw” books and books on sharks.
