Glimpse at Our Classroom

Here are a few pictures from our new school area.

Photobucket

The white desk is a built in desk that was in the house. D made the cubbie unit for me. We start the day here. You can’t see it due to the black chair (my chair), but there is a computer monitor. That is where Munchkin does most of her computer work. She will also do some of her work on the laptop.

These carts house our lapbooking supplies as well as other school supplies.

Munchkin likes to sit in the window seat to do her work that doesn’t require a desk.

We’re still working on getting the rest of the area set up. We have bookcases on either side of the window seat. They’re filled, but not yet organized. I need D to build me another bookcase to go against the other wall. It’s amazing how many books we have. We’ve always had bookcases all over the house, so we never really knew how many books that involved. Now that they are all in one room, we can see there are a lot more books than we realized.

This room will also be an exercise room (treadmill is in here) and a playroom (toys will be stored here). We’re working on how to finish organizing the room. For now, we’re still dealing will piles of books and boxes. I’ll post more pictures as we get things done.

What a beautiful area for Munchkin to do some of her school work in (the window seat).

The school room is looking good.
