We’re actually getting ready to wrap up our school year in October. We’ll be taking a break once D gets home. We’ll start our new year once he heads back to work. I’ll just go over what we plan on doing for the rest of this school year…. We use the Weaver curriculum which is a Bible based unit study curriculum. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be continuing our study on the life of Christ. In science/history, we’ll be studying about mountains, earthquakes, weather, and simple machines. We’ll be lapbooking these studies. Munchkin will continue her math work in…

We completed our unit on geography with a focus on maps today. We used a partial Hands of a Child unit. Munchkin had fun designing the layout this afternoon. We picked up the fun file folder at Big Lots yesterday. They had packages of 12 for $2! It’s fun to have playful file folders at times.
