The Video Series

Well, since I was so excited about the video series that I found, I figured that I should share it and not keep it to myself. lol! There are a lot of different series put out by Schlessinger Media. We’re using the Grammar for Children series, the Map Skills for Children series, and the Physical Science series right now. They also put out different Earth Science dvds, Weather Fundamentals, History dvds, Math dvds… You name it; they probably have it. Many of their series come in different grade levels as well which is really nice depending on how in depth…

Read Together Challenge

The Read Together challenge has started over at Snapshot. Jennifer has challenged us to read a book with our children. “Select a book together. Read it together (out loud or independently). Discuss it (chapter by chapter or all at once at the end).” Munchkin and I will be reading American Girl Josefina series. She’s completed the first 3 books in the series, so I need to get started to catch up. We’ll be discussing the books once we’ve both read them. She’s having fun telling me about the books as she’s reading them. I look forward to discussing these books…
